Türkçenin Yabancı Dil Olarak Öğretiminde Karşılaşılan Sorunları Ele Alan Makalelerin İncelenmesi (2013-2023)

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the trends of articles dealing with current problems encountered in teaching Turkish as a foreign language. Within the scope of the research, 34 articles published in 29 different journals between 2013-2023 were analyzed in terms of various variables. The data were analyzed by content analysis. It was observed that most of the articles dealing with the problems encountered in teaching Turkish as a foreign language were single-authored, qualitative approach was used more, survey and case design were used more, interview form was used more as data collection tool and content analysis was used more as data analysis technique. When the results of the research are examined, it is seen that the problems encountered in teaching Turkish as a foreign language are mainly gathered under the titles of problems arising from language features, materials, students, teachers, environment, measurement and evaluation and other reasons. It is thought that the research reveals the current problems encountered in teaching Turkish as a foreign language.
